Amalfi Coast, Italy

In April, for our last trip of the semester, we went to the Amalfi Coast, Italy. We spent most of our time in Sorrento, soaking up the sun at different beach spots. This was the perfect weekend of sun we had been desperately waiting for, since it was a record cold winter for Italy. One of our few days there, we decided to make the 2 hour day trip to Positano. If you don't know where that is based off of the name, you probably will recognize it from photos. Positano is a popular tourist destination with a beautiful beach and a stunning background of Italian buildings perched on the hillside. The bus ride there was a bit rough, haha. We were left standing in the isle of the bus for the drive up the mountainside, and a boy got sick right next to us from the windy drive. Once we reached the top of the mountain, we decided to hop off the bus and walk the rest of the way down to Positano. It was a trek down into the city, but the view was INCREDIBLE. We ended up relaxing on the beach and then eating a yummy Italian meal. At the end of the day, we chose to take the half hour ferry ride back to Sorrento. We ended the day getting to witness the stunning views around the coast, and seeing the island of Capri from the boat.
